Physiotherapists here at the Cheshire Physiotherapy Centre are all highly qualified and experienced members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and The Health Professionals Council. As a leading centre for physiotherapy in Manchester and Cheshire you will receive the highest levels of clinical excellence and expertise. Our Physiotherapists are specially trained to relieve pain, improve movement and function and, with a view to both the short and long term, provide preventative advice.

Qualified in 1993 from Manchester University and currently works as a clinical Lead Therapist in Rhuematology and Extended Scope Practitioner in Orthopaedic Medicine. Sarah has worked in private practice since 1995. She has a specialist interest in Rhuematological conditions, including Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis. She has a Diploma in Injection Therapy and qualifications in Acupuncture. She has completed her Masters in Advanced Practice in Health and Social Care at Salford University. She is a member of British Health Professionals in Rheumatology, Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Orthopaedic Medicine, Aquatic Therapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Caroline Clegg qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2000 and currently works as a Senior Specialist Physiotherapist. She specialises in musculoskeletal treatment, with expertise in treating Rheumatology and haematology conditions. She incorporates acupuncture into her treatment courses. She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine And is currently working towards a Masters in Pain Science ad Management. She is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists

Mark qualified 2003 from Sheffield Hallam University. Currently working in private practice and professional rugby league with St Helens RLFC following a career in the NHS. He has expertise in treating Musculoskeletal and Rheumatological conditions and has a special interest in sport related injuries. Mark is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Jan qualified in 1988 and she currently works as a clinical specialist and extended scope practitioner in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal medicine
Jan has a Diploma in Injection Therapy and is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapy and Injection Therapy. and the Extended Scope Practitioner specialist Interest Group.
Jan is currently undertaking an M Sc Orthopaedics and Trauma.

Dominic graduated from Nottingham University and moved to the Northwest to practice. Dominic works exclusively in the private sector and specialises in musculoskeletal conditions. Dominic is the physiotherapist for Glossop North End Football Club and was part of the backroom team who when they got to Wembley in 2008.
Dominic also works in Disability Sport and he travelled to Beijing with the British Team for the Para-Olympic Games.

Carol graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist at Manchester Royal Infirmary in 1984 and has had over 25 years of experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions. In 1997 Carol graduated from Coventry University with an M Sc in Manipulative Therapy. Carol is a member of the Manipulation Association of the Institute of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP). Skilled in acupuncture Carol is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists [AACP]. Carol is a qualified Pilates Instructor registered with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute.
Carol specialises in the treatment of back and neck disorders, sports injuries and soft tissue injuries and shel has worked in Private Practice, in the NHS and in the Armed Forces.
As an Extended Scope physiotherapist Carol continues her work in the NHS in neurosurgery clinics and liaises with Orthopaedic Consultants from Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Hospitals.
Carol has a well earned reputation for providing a highly professional and friendly service to Clients.

Martina qualified in 1987 as a Chartered Physiotherapist. She is currently working as a Senior Physiotherapy Specialist, with expertise in musculoskeletal disorders and the rehabilitation of Post Operative conditions.
She has over 18 years experience of working in private practice and has completed postgraduate training in Maitland Mobilisations and Orthopaedic Medicine

Qualified in 2000at Leeds University. Susie is currently working as a Senior Physiotherapist Specialist in Musculoskeletal treatment, with a special interest in shoulder injuries. She incorporates acupuncture into her treatment. She is currently completing an MSC/ masters in Manual Therapy and is an associate member of the MACP Manipulative Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Qualified in 2001 as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Coventry University.
Rebecca has worked both in the NHS and Private Practice and with the Academy at Manchester City Football Club.
Rebecca specialises in Musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular expertise in treating back pain. She has gained post-graduate qualifications in acupuncture, and has also attended post-graduate courses in the Mulligan concept and Mackenzie technique, which she incorporates into her treatment programmes.
Rebecca is working towards a Masters Degree in Orthopaedic Medicine.
Rebecca is also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine.
