Acupuncture is used as an adjunct to our normal physiotherapy treatments to help with pain relief.

Acupuncture, first recorded in ancient Chinese cultures, involves the insertion of very fine needles by a skilled and specially qualified physiotherapist. Acupuncture has long been known to stimulate self healing. Research shows that Acupuncture works by stimulating the brain to produce natural pain relieving chemicals called endorphins. Endorphins are the body's natural pain killers. Acupuncture is shown to be successful in the treatment of back pain, headaches, whiplash, and arthritis.
